Visa Processing Times

The Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) has advised that Visa applicants will now be able to view current visa application processing times.

This information is now available for most visa types, and can be found on the DIBP website. This means that visa applicants should be able to access up-to-date information related to their particular Subclass of visa application, giving an idea of how long it will take to process.

The DIBP advise that estimated processing times will be updated regularly to reflect current caseloads at their visa processing locations. Two processing times will be displayed for most visa subclasses, indicating how long it takes to finalise 75 and 90 per cent of applications.
